EEG + Braincare™ + TMS = MeRT®

Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy (MeRT) combines rapid electroencephalogram (EEG) assessments to analyze brain network function then guide personalized Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) protocols.

The MeRT Process

DSI EEG recording
STEP 1
EEG Recording
We conduct an eyes-closed 10 minute quantitative electroencephalogram (q-EEG) and an electrocardiogram (EKG) that measure brainwave frequencies as well as heart rate and brain-heart coherence.
Neurosynchrony report
STEP 2
Braincare™ analysis & protocol generation
Your brainwave recording is sent to the Wave Neuroscience cloud platform where it is processed against a database of 60,000+ brainwave recordings. Your digital brain image is converted into an easy to interpret report, complete with deep insight and age & gender matched comparisons. If we identify areas of the brain that are not functioning properly, partners can use that report to generate a patient specific care protocol and track progress over time.
Personalized TMS treatment
STEP 3
MeRT personalized TMS therapy
If the report indicates you can benefit from personalized brain stimulation, a protocol is generated based on the brainwave recording data and can be delivered via in-clinic therapy, called MeRT. Brain stimulation sessions occur daily, 5-days per week for approximately 30 minutes over one month. During this time, your personalized protocol is used to intelligently choreograph brainwave activity into a more synchronized state.

We believe mental health is based on a properly functioning brain.

Identifying brainwave patterns image

Harnessing the power of precision EEG fidelity.

Wave Neuroscience technology leverages the power of electroencephalograms (EEGs) to assess the brain's electrophysiological performance with remarkable precision. With the ability to analyze the activity of 86 billion neurons and 100 trillion synaptic connections, it offers unparalleled insight into brain function and neural communication.
"Before EEGs, we could only perceive the overall 'melody' of the mind—how someone outwardly expresses themselves. Now, with EEGs, we can discern the intricate details of each 'instrument' within the orchestra of the brain."
- Bill Phillips PhD
